Named after Mount Monadnock, the Monadnock Region is in Southwestern New Hampshire and comprises of Cheshire County towns, as well as a few from Hillsborough County. Mount Monadnock is the region's largest mountain, at 3,165 ft. It provides beautiful mountainscape and outdoor recreation for its residents. The area's largest and only city is Keene. The region's towns include Peterborough, Swanzey, Stoddard, Jaffrey, Rindge, Antrim, Bennington, Hancock, and Dublin.
