Getting back to its history, the Amoskeag Mills are also within the downtown area located along the Merrimack River. Although previously the world's largest cotton textile mill the renovated mills are now home to everything from technology businesses to rock climbing. There is, of course, the other nickname with all this action you can sometimes hear it called ManchVegas, although without all the glitter and hype.
