Kennedy Memorial Monument at City Hall Plaza and visit Nashua’s Historical Society for museums full of Nashua’s 325 years of history. Don’t forget to visit the Nashua National Fish Hatchery that supports restoration of species in the Nashua River and other rivers. Then there are the Nashua Pride Baseball games at historic Holman Stadium.
For the outdoor enthusiasts, Nashua offers several parks, walking & bike trails. Walk or bike along the River walk or along the Nashua River Rail Trail a 17 mile trail which runs from the heart of Nashua to downtown Ayer MA. Mines Falls Park is a 325 acre park with forest, wetlands and open fields great for walking,biking,boating, fishing, cross country skiing & snowshoeing. Also, Nashua has many parks including Greely Park where there are playgrounds and picnic areas to enjoy the outdoors with family and friends.
Nashua is a shoppers dream come true with several shopping centers throughout the city including the Pheasant lane Mall with 130 stores including Sears, Target, JC Penney & Macy’s. It is one of the most poplar shopping destinations in NH with its many options and of course NH is the only NE state without sales tax! Nashua is a city that truly has something for everyone!
